TTTHEREAS certain lands at or near VV Ekctaliuna on the Wellington Napier Railway have boon taken for pub' lie Works, under "The Public Works Act, 1882," and itu amendments, by proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of tho nineteenth day of January 1888, Now therefore I, Edwin Mitchelson, the Minister for public Works, in pursuance and exercißO of every power ami authority enabling me in that behalf, do hereby appoint the Public \>orks Office at Wellington, to be the public office at which persons bavins; any estate or interest in any lands taken as aforesaid, or injuriously affected by the said Proclamation, or suffering any damage m respect of such lands from the exercise of tho powers given under tho said Acts shall servo their claims, pursuant to '• The Public Works Act, 1882," and its amendments.
