Small Pox onihe Mail Steamer.

Auckland, February 3.

The Mariposa arrived flying the yellow flag, having one case of smallpox on board. The disease appeared the day after leaving Honolulu, The patient is a passenger from San Francisco, and is isolated. There have been no fresh cases. The steamer is quarantined and the mails delayed for fumigation. The passengers will be landed at the Quarantine Island tomorrow morning. The vessel proceeds to Sydney tomorrow, and Auckland cargo will be landed in lighters.
