Owen's Patent New Zealand Sheep Dip. "The CHEAPEST and EFECTUAL" _ ji For the prevention and extermination of Scab, Lico,. Ticks, the cure of Lung Worm and Foot Hot in Slioup, and the destruction of obnoxious forma of Parasitical life of low typo, —TESTIMONIALS— Whataroa, Wanyanui, 20th Sept. 1887 To Mr W. T. Owen, Makiririki, Dour Sir.—l have much pleasure in announcing to you tho success of your Patent New Zealand sheop Dip. I dipped 430 lambs badly infected with lung worm. Previous to dipping they used to die three and four every day, and since I dipped three died in six weeks. 1 examined the three and found the lung worm dead. They are now recovering very fast. If I had not dipped, fifty more at least would have died, and 1 do not know when they would havo stopped. Yours truly AUGUSTIN GEORGETTr, Memorandum from ALEX. MONRO, Sheep, Cattle, and Rabb>t lnspeotor, and Registrar of Brands, Wanganui. 17 th December, 1887. To Mil Wm Thos. Owen, Makirikiri. In veply to your letter asking for my opinion as to the result of tho dipping of Messrs Davey and Co.'s sheep in your patent New Zealand Dip, 1 have much pleasure in testifying to the satisfactory result of the dipping. I inspected the sheep previous to the dipping and found them badly infected with lico and ticks; and 1 agaiu inspected them about a week after they were dipped, and found rio signs of either lice or ticks. The wool at the same time felt soft and seemed in no way injured. In my opinion your dip is one of the cheapest and best yet offered to farmers, and ought to do much to clear their flocks from lice and ticks. ALEX. MONRO.
