North County Sheep-farmers v. Masterton Cricket Club. Thisniatohcamo off on Saturday on Oval, and resulted in a win for tho Maatevton mon by 17 runs on the first innings. The representatives of wool wont to tlio wickets first, and owing to the big stand they made in Greytowii on Friday, some tall scoring was anticipated, but Perry and Pownall were, both in good form with the ball, and wickets fell rapidly. Out of a total of 48, thevetorau Selby, with 12 to his credit, was the only man to get into double figures. Perry got 6 wickets for 19 runs and Pownall 5 for 28. The Mastorton men then went to the wickets and managed to tot up 65 before beiug disposed of, Jackson 14, G. H. Smith 11, and Kibblewhite 10, being the principal scorers, No bowling analysis was kept of this innings. Turner got 5 wwkots, Elder 3, and Selby 8. The (*intrymen went in for their second llfflirigs and compiled 70, Stokes 22 and Selby 10 being the only ones to reach double figures. Perry was again the most successful bowler, getting 5 wickets for 18 runs, Iggulden, 2 for 15, coming next. The matchwas played with 12 mon a side, 'W'ountry—lst Innings.
