[to the editor] Sir.—For the benefit of your correspondent, I beg to state that Box lobbies are open and closed throughout the Colony in accordance with the Postal Regulations, which are as followsOn week days, in large offices, such as Auckland, Wellington, &c., they open at 8 a.m., and close at 10 p.m. In small offices like this, they open at 8 a.m., and close, by special authority, at Q. 30 p.m.it is never closed b.efore but frequently after that liour. On Sundays, all offices open at 8 a.m.. and close at 5.80 pan, I ail), etc., J. Bagge, Masterton, Postmaster. 18th January, 1888. .
