Messrs M'Donnell, Blacliliam, Beal, and Sheridan aro selecting the team, and it is well known that they want the best possible team to go,- particularly as it will be the last that will go for many years. The following players have been mentioned,'and if they are willing to go, a very fine team could be chosen from thornßlackham, Boyle, A. Bannerman, G. Giffen, Jarvis, Horan, Turner, Ferris, Moses, Lyons, Worrall, J. W, Trumble, W. Bruce, Allen. Bonner will be picked up in England, and Allen will be touring at home, and according to all accounts will be very pleased to play for Australia when called upon. There soems to be con- ' siderable doubt about Moses, Horan, J, W. Trumblo, and Bruce, but the f' : rest will be all-tbero if wanted.' The i" team will not leave for England until on in March, so that ample timo remains for makingthe final selection."
