The Post Office Boxes.
[To the Editor.]
Sir, -I wish, through yourcblumns, to call attention to the .inconvenience caused by the private boxes at the Maaterton Post Office being shut off from the public after about 9 p.m. Now I do not think there is any necessity to lock the door of the apartment as early as it has .been done. It even might be left open all night, for between the policeman and the night-watchman everything would be safe enough. At any rate, eleven o'clock is sufficiently soon enough to close the door, and. an alteration to this hour would often prevent us missing our mail, as we have to do if we happen to be at the Theatre, at a meeting, of at any evening engagement, lam, etc., One op the Boxboldehs.
