i Nominations for Anniversary Handicap, Friendly Societies Race, Walking Match, Hurdle Eace, and Mile Handicap, accompanied by fees and previous performances, to be iu the hands of the Secretary, at Mr A MoKenzic's shop, not later than SATURDAY, 14th January, 188 S. Handicaps will be declared on TUESDAY. 17th January, and published in local paper. Acceptances will close on FBIDAY, 20th January, KTJLES AND CONDITIONS. 1, Nominator to state all place performances for past two years. 2. The Anniversary Handicap to bo decided by points, viz: First place to count five points, second place three points, and third place two poinis. 3. In all racas and competitions, threo to start or no second prize will be given, and in the event of special prizes being given, they will take the place of second money. 4, All protests, if any, must be lodged with the secretary in writing, not later than 15 minutes after the close of the race or competition, 5. In the event of any I competitor making a false start, he shall bo
placed one yard behind his previous mark for each false start he makes, 6. The decision of the Committee in all cases shall be final. 7.
