GOLD DREDGING GREYMOUTH BEACH.
Gbeyjiooth, December 21. • Numerous applications are being made for leases of ground along the West Coast beaches, for the purpose of being worked by dredges such as Wellman's or Ball's, Great hopes are entertained, if dredges only come to expectations, aud several companies are now under way, but none are yet in active operation.
