Nominations for the Handicap Hurdles, Hying, L.VJ.C. audMartinboroughHaiidicaps 'close with the' Secretary at Martinborough on Saturday, 10th November, at 9 p.m. "Weights declared'for Hurdles,; Flying, and L.V.J.C. Handicaps on Monday,' sth December, at" 7 p.m. Acceptances for the same on Saturday, 17th December, at 9 p.m. 'Weights for the Martinborough Handicap to be declared on the course after the L.V.J.C. Handicap is over. Acceptances for the same to" be made 30 minutes before the race takes place. The saddling bell will ring at 11.30 a.m. The fifct race will start at 12 noon sharp. Each race will start punctually at the time appearing on tlio correct cards of the races; No scratching of horses allowed except through the Secretary, ami not later than 30 minutes before the' time ot starting. All entries and nominations to be made m writing, sealed, and' addressed to tho Secretary. Entrance money to be enclosed, with color, sex, name, age, pedigree, and previous performances of the horse, name of the owner and cdorsofjhc rider. Noentiyor acceptance will be accepted without the amount of requisite fees. No nominations, acceptance, or final payments will be taken after time named under any pretext whatever No entry ■ will be received for any of the races except upon the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the races shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. BULKS AND REGULATIONS. No entry will be received for any race except upon the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising, shall be. decided by a majority of stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision on all points shall bo final. All nominations, entries mid acceptances to be made in writing' addressed to the Secretary, at the Oddfellows Hall, Featherstou. No nomination or acceptance will be received after the advertised time of closing under any pretence whatever, or unless accompanied by the necessary amounts. The rules of the Wellington Racing Club, where applicable, >will be strictly adhered to. Nominations for all handicaps af this meeting will close with the Secretary at the above address on Saturday the 10th December at 8.30 p.m. Weights will be declared on Saturday, the 17th December. Acceptances for Handiaps will closo on Saturday the 24th Doccmber at 8,30 p.m, Entries for Scratch Hack Race must be made within 30 minutes after the Hack Hurdle Race is run,, All protests musfcb,e made in writing to the Secretary within ten minutes' after passing the winning post, with a'denpsit of 2 sovs, which I lie forfeited if the protest is not susi taijjed.
