Nominations 10a, acceptances 10a. RULES AND REGULATIONS. To be run under the rules of tbn Metropoli- i tan Racing Clubs, except where otherwise' named in this programme. No qualification feo. Nomination for the Handicap Hurdles, Flying, L.V.J.C. and Martinborough Handicaps close with the Secretary at Martinborough on Saturday, 19th November, at 9 p,m, Weights declared for Hurdles, Flying, and L.V.J.C. Handicaps on Monday, Dth December, at 7 p.m. Acceptances for the-same on Saturday, 17th December, at 9 p.m. Weights for the Martinborough Handicap to be declared on the course after the L.V.J.C. Handicap is over. Acceptances for the same to be made 30 minutes before the race takes place. The saddling bell will ring at 11,30 a.m. The first race will start at 12 noon sharp. Each race will start punctually at the time appearing on the correct cards of the races; No scratching of horses allowed except through the Secretary, and'not later than 30 minutes before the time ot starting. All entries and nominations to be made in writing, scaled, and addressed to the Secretary. Entranco money to be enclosed, with color, sex, name, age, pedigree, and previous performances of the- horse, name of the owner and cc lors of the rider, No entry or acceptance will he accepted without the amount of requisite fees. No nominations, acceptance, or final payments will be taken after time named under any pretext whatever No entry will be received for any of tho races except upon tho conditions that all claims, dilutes, and objections arising out of the races shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may appoint, Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. The rules of the Wellington Racing Club, where applicable, •will be strictly adhered to, Nominations for all handicaps af this meeting will close with the • Secretary at the above address on Saturday the 10th December at 8.30 p.m. Weights will be declared on Saturday,- the 17th December. Acceptances for Handiaps will dose on Saturday the 24th Docembcr at 8.30 p.w, Entries for Scratch Hack Race must be made withm'3o minutes after the Hack Hurdle Race jb run, All protests must be made in writing to the Secretary within ten minutes after pasiing the winning post, with a depoait of 2 sovs, which sum wuUbe forfeited if the protest is not sustained. In all nominations for Handicaps, the name, ago at time of entry, pedigree, color, eei and previous performance of the horse, name of owmtr, and colors of rider must bo given, The winner of an advertised race of 50 eovs and over, after the declaration of weights to carry 71b extra in the F.R.C. Handicap. Hacks shall mean a horse which has nover started for other than Hack Races'; Hack Handicaps excepted, and is not now nominated for Derbys, Guineas, St Legcr«, Saplings or Oaks. Horses walking over will receive 00 per cent'of the stakes All persons intending to withdraw horses are rej quired to give notice in writing, to the Secretary balf-an-hour before the official timo of starting such race., Any person'neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, to be .imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding 'ISO, to the race fund, Owners are vp'articularly requested to observe this rule, ' ' W.
