On comin? over the bar the vessel struck heavily, in fivo feet oi water, and washed over the liar into eight feet of water, where, having no steerage way, and the channel being narrow, again struck and took ground on the south spit, where she now lies. No damage hits been sustained, but tho prospects of floating her off are not good. It is probable she will have to be launched over the breakwater into the river.
