Acceptances must be made within half an hour after declaration of weights.

RULES AND REGULATIONS, No entry will bo received for any race except upon the conditions that nil claims, disputes, and objections arising, shall bo decided by a majority of stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision on all points shall be final. All nominations, entries and acceptances to he made in writing addressed to the Secretary, at the Oddfellows Hall, Featherston; No nomination or acceptance will be received after the advertised time of closing under any pretence whatever, or unless accompanied by tho necessary amounts. The rules of the Wellington Racing Club, where applicable, will bo strictly adhered to, Nominations for all liaiulicaps'af this meeting will close with the Secretary at the above address on Saturday the 10 th December at 8,30 p,m, Weights will be declared 011 Saturday, the 17th December, Acceptances for Handiaps will close on Saturday the 24th Docemher at 8,30 p,m, Entries for Scratch Hack Race must be made within 30 minutes after the Hack Hurdle Race is run. All protests must be made in writing to the Secretary within ten minutes after passing the winning post, with a deposit of 2 sovs, which sum will be forfeited if tho protest is not sustained. In all nominations for Handicaps, the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, color, sex and previous performance of the horse, name of owner, and colors of rider must be given. The winner of an advertised race of 50 sovs and over, after the declaration of weights to cany 71b extra in the F.R.C. Handicap, Hacks shall mean a horse which has never started for other than Hack Races; Hack Handicaps excepted, and is not now nominated for Derbys, Guineas, St Legcrs, Saplings or Oaks, Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent of the stakes All persons intending to withdraw horses are rej quired to give notice in writing to the Secretary half-an-hour before the official time of starting such race. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, to be imposed by tho Stewards, not exceeding £2O, to the race fund. Owners are particularly requested to observe this rule, W. BOOK, Secretary and Treasurer.
