FATAL BUSH ACCIDENT AT MAURICEVILLE.
Yesterday afternoon (Friday) a man named Jacob Isaaksen, a resident of Upper Mauriceville, was found in the Bush suffering from the effect of an accident, It appears that on Monday morning last Isaaksen went away alone to do some and was not heard of till he was discovered lying at the bottom of a gully j'esterday. He was brought out to his residence aud medical assistance sent for. Dr Beard was soon in attendance, and found the poor fellow quite sensible, but in a dying state, and he expired this morning. The deceased stated that he was injured by a falling tree, and on endeavoring.to crawl home fell into a gully, where he was found, and was unable to get out. It is supposed be had been lying in the place where he was found for about four days, suffering, as may be imagined, terrible agony. On examination, the doctor found one of the deceased's collar bones broken, his lungs very much inflamed, and his side and back injured. The deceased leaves a wife and seven children, Mr S, von Stumier has proceeded to Mauriceville to hold an inquest on the body,
