Nominations 10s, acceptances 10s. RULES AND REGULATIONS. To be run under the rules of tho Metropolitan Racing Clubs, except where otherwise named in this programme, No qualification fee. Nominations for the Handicap Hurdles, Flying, L.V.J.O. and MartinborougliHandicaps close with the Secretary at Maryborough on Saturday, 19th November, at 9 p.m. Weights declared for Hurdles, Flying, and L.V.J.C, Handicaps on Monday, sth December, at 7 p.m. Acceptances for the same on Saturday, 17th December, at 9 p.m. Weights for the Maryborough Handicap to be declared on the course after the L.V.J.C. Handicap is over. Acceptances for the same to be made SO minutes before tho race takes place. Tho saddling bell will ring at 11,30 a.m. The first race will start at 12 noon sharp. Each race will start punctually at the time appearing on the correct cards of the races, No scratching • of horses allowed except through the Secretary, and not later than 30 minutes before the time or starting. All entries and nominations to be made in writing, sealed, and addressed to tho Secretary. Entrance money to be enclosed, with color, sex, name, age, pedfereo, and previous performances of the horse, namo of the owner and cdors of the rider, No entry or acceptance will be accepted without the amount of requisite fees, No nominations, acceptance, or final payments will be taken after time named under any pretext whatever No entry will bo received for any of the races except upon the conditions that all claims, disputes, aud objections arising out of the races shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or thoso whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with tho carrying out of this programme shall be final. Acceptances for Handiaps will close ou Saturday the 24th Docembcr at 8,30 p.m, Entries for Scratch Hack Race must bo made within 30 minutes after the Hack Hurdle Race is run, All protests must bo made in writing to tho Secretary within ten minutes after passing the winning post, ivith a deposit of 2 sovs, which sum will be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. In all nominations for Handicaps, the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, color, sex and previous performance of the horse, name of owner, and colors of rider must be given, The winner of an advertised race of 50 sovs and over, after the declaration of weights to carry 71b extra in the F.R.O. Handicap, Hacks shall meau a horse which has never started for other than Hack Races; Hack Handicaps oxecpted, and is not now nominated for Derbys, Guineas, St Legers, Saplings or Oaks, Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent of the stakes All persons intending to withdraw horses are rej quired to give notice in writing to the Secretary half-an-hour before the official time of starting such race, Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine,' to be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding £2O, to the race tod.
