Hicks shall • mean a horse woich has never started for other than Hack Races; Hack Handicaps excepted, and is not now nominated for Derbys, Guineas, St Lcgcrs Saplings or Oaks. Horses walking over will receive 60 percent of tho stakes All persons intending to withdraw horses are rej quired to give notice in writing to tho Secretary half-au-hour before the official timo of starting such race.
