Mr Luke Patrick Hayden, momber of Parliament for South Leinster, has been conyicted and sentenced to two month's impiisonmont with hard' labour, on a charge of inciting tenants to disorder at evictions in Ireland.

The appeal of Mr. O'Brien against the verdict of the Mitchelltown Court in September last w ill be heard to-day at Middleton,. County Cork. A strong force of military and police have be drafted into the town to enforce order.
