His dam Blossom by Botbwell was also imported from Scotland, Prince Royal is a rich brown color, stands 16 hands and 3 inches, showing great symmetry of form, with plenty of hair and bone of the best fashion, Prince Royal commenced his career as a prize taker at two years old, securing second place at Ballarat, and second at Smeaton, where he was only beaten by Darwin, the winner of the Sires' Produce Stakes of £lO. Since his arrival in this colony ho has r.'ways been a prize taker in every show yard v.liere he has been entered.
