The perusal of CRAWFORD PRIORY'S pedigree calls to mind the performances of his brother and sißter, Guesswork and Con lecture. The former won several good races in the Australian Colonies, and at weight for age as a thieeyear-old in the Champion Race of 1883, got to the end of 3wilcß in the wonderful time of 5 miu. 26 sec., many who were present averring that he actually won, the verdict against hiffi being only a short head in the great Commotion's favour. Conjecture recently at Adelaide ran second for the £2,000 Cup, beating everything opposed to her but Malta, Sho afterwards, Bt auction, realised one thousand guineas.
