TARATAHI-CARTERTON ROAD BOARD.

With reference to laying stones by the roadside, It was resolved that he boallowed to do so providing he puts them into tho hollows, The Clerk informed the Board that the Greytown Borough Council would only consent to hold themselves liable for l-3rd of the loan for the Gfeytown-Mata-rawa bridge. Mr Skey asked to be allowed ta plant a piece of waste land by the road aide, in Ho. 2 Ward, with trees. The matter was left in the hands of the Warden to report on at the next meeting.
