(To the Editor,) I have just been informed that the reasons I am so persistontly howled down in "public meetings" is because Mr I J, Smith, the .indefatigable sjicretajy .of Mr Hogg's election comirjittee, hasigivon instructions • that I am the only man theyare to prevent from criticising Mr Hogg's speoches, because if I were to cut qp his speeches as I cut up Mr Bectbam's Jubilee speech, -J - might soriously injure his chances of election.
