Slit.—Could not something bo done .to put a stop to the disgraceful conduct of the hoodlums at our political meetings, such as was experienced last night in the' Theatre Royal? If no ono but bona, fide, electors, (ladies excepted) or men of voting age bad been piesent on Wednesday night moro questions would have been asked, and information of vital importance to the electors would have been elicited. I am, etc., Elector. . Masterton, July 21,1887. (To the Editor.) Sib,—Can you iufonn me tho boa method of destroying tho grubs, (1- forward you a specimen), which 1 find infests my currant bushes.
