Last night's Post says:—"What- " over Mr Buchanan's claims may be' "inregard'to past services—and we "have no desire to disparage them—"Mr Bunny's claims are infinitely "greater. Mr Buchanan's record is "not for a moment to be compared "with his, and wo know that Mr "Bunny has tho experience and " ability to make a much more useful "representative than Mr Buchanan " can ever develop into." Wo fancy the Post hiows more than this, only, it is judiciously reticent. It knows that when Mr Bunny was a member of the House, he was regarded by Parliamentarians with undisguised contempt, and that when he retired from Parliament the only regret expressed was the loss of an admirable caterer for Bellamy.
