In response to petitions presented to her Majesty, asking for a reprieve of the crew of. the .ship Lady Douglas, the sentences have been remitted as follows:—The captain to. five years' imprisonment, tho mate to eighteen months', and those of the crew who were convicted one year each, Sofia, July 7. Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg has been, elected by tho .Sobranje as Prince" of Bulgaria, and the Sobranje has adjourned, pending the receipt of the Piince's reply to the announcement of his election.
