MAURICEVILLE ROAD BOARD.
Tiie ordinary meeting of the Mauvicnrille Bond Board wag held-on Saturday last, June 25. Present—W. Jesaen (chairman), „C. Forsberg, and Guilder Gunderson.'' Tho minutes of the last meeting were read confirmed. Correspondence outwards was read. Correspondence inwards—From Provincial District Audit Officer, forwarding bank book. From Paymaster General, advising payment of i) 3 2a Gd being rates on Native Lands. From ißank of New South Wales advising receipt of same. From County Clerk re statement of receipts, expenditure and liabilities sheet. From uufk pound. From Mrs L. E, Wsfifi informing the Board that' sbeßaasold her property' to Messrs Joseph and Wright. ' 'Tho Treasurer reportud a credit balauce of £76 7s Gd. Aocouuta amounting','to £l6 7s Gd wero paused for payment, The following resolutions were passed—That a toll-gate be erected on the Mauricotills Road, the charge to be the aaine #8 at the Manganmlioe toll-gate, and - tolls to be charged for the first time oa-Tue«day, July 12th next. That 'tenders be,called for collecting.gthe , tolls, That the members present be a ..Committee to draw up the specification : for fame. ■ That a special meeting of tho Board be hold on today, July 9th next, to consider tho tenders. That a general rate of | in the £.bo leyied on the rateable value of the property : within the district for the year, commencieg on the Ist April, 1887, ending on the 31st March, 1888,-jmyable in one sum on the 30th July Daft at Mr G undersoil's Central Store, Mauricevilk Messrs Guildersou and Forsberg were appointed to «ign .cheques for the Board, (and Messrs Jesßen and Gunderson wero authorised to sign the ralo book, The Meeting then'adjourned.
