The triple Jubilee event-doll cako fair and dance—takes place at the -Masterton Drill Shed to-morrow evening, commencing at 7 o'clock; The presents to be distributed are costly and numerous, and musical and'instrumental selections will be'given during the evening. Wo wiflli the event every success. A child ivith two tongues is said to be now living at Yonkers, N.Y., aged two years. Thesocond tongue has grown from the root and on the tcip of the first. The mother first noticed it when the ohild was three days old. The child has never experienced any difficulty in swallowing its food or in breathing, looks natural in every other way, and has always been healthy.
On Monday the Hawkes Bay representatives met the Manawatu football team at Newtown Park, Wellington, in the presence of about 1200 spectators.
