JUBILEE CELEBRATION.

A general 'meeting of the Masterton Jubilee Celebration Committee was held at the Central Chambers last evening (Friday) there being about thirty gentlemen present, including Mr G. The various committees were requested to report to a.general meeting to be held on Wednesday evening next. It was decided to invite the Salvation Army to. take part iu the procession, and the name of the local Captain was added to the committee. The names of Manihera, and Wi Waka, Te Ore Ore, and Eanganui Kingi and 1 ' Kariatiana, Akura, were added to the Committee,, and the Secretary was .requested to write and invite the Maories to take, part in the celebration.
