A jffißiiKG of the general committee of the'•. Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association was 'bold 'on Saturday afternoon at' the Central-, Chambers. Present—Messrs'flawMns (President), "W. Lowes, B.T/'Pefry, D. .Guild, R. R. Meredith, J. Ross,, W. H. Smith, W. lorns, D'. Carman, F.Gray, T. E. Chamberlain. The resignation of the Secretary (Mr R. J. Fitton) was read and accepted with regret, and it was resolved that he be awarded two fees of £4 i each, for his services in connection with the ram fairs. It was decided to invite, applications for tho office of Secretary, and that the salary should he £4O, with a commission on subscriptions. A statement of accounts was submitted, show-, ing a credit balance of £129. It was arranged to hold a general mooting for tho purpose of altering the "date of tho show.
