The Local Bills Committee reported in favor of Messrs Hasting and Cambridge Borough Bills, t Mr Menzies said lie had ascertained the Pharmacy Board did not oppose the Pharmacy Act Amendment Bill, and he would tiiko no further action in the matter, The Bill was then read a second timo. The Banks and Bankers Act Amendment Bill was read a second time.

The Council then went into committee on the Counties Act Amendment. Bill, but reported progress in order to enable a new clause which the Colonel Secretary proposed to insert, to be printed. The Council adjourned at 2.45.
