(united press association.) Duxedin, May 1, A meeting of creditors in the estate of P. E. Hubbard, commission agent, was to have been held on Saturday, but although plenty of people were present, no meeting could be held, as they refused to prove in Hubbard's estate. Hubbard was Secretary of the Amateur Dramatic Club, which recently played " Our Boys" here, and incurred debts in that capacity. Other members, however, now say Hubbard alone was responsible, and that there was no real Club. Great indignation was expressed on Saturday, and most of the creditors will refrain from proving Hubbard's ostate, and try to recover from the club. In default of a properly constituted meeting, the •bankrupt was severely examined on oath by the Official Assignee. Dunedin, May 2.
