FIRE AT TE ORE ORE.
About ten o'clock this morning (Tuesday) a fire ocourrod at Ore 'which destroyed a threshing machine (combine) and clevato\ belonging to Mr G. Heron,, a staoip and a half of unthroshed wheat, and a largo straw stack. Threshing operations have beenvria'ttiod on for several days 'on tho station, and a largo quantity of grain has : beon kuooked out. • Whon tho fire broke out'this morning, tho wind blewthe flames and onvelopod -tho machines, which were, soon destroyed, but the men difficulty able to save about 106 bushels of threshed grain. There would be about V. 600 bußb.ols.of grain in the stacks that were destroyed; .The jloyator was a new one, purchased by Mr Heron last year, whioh, with' the combine, were insured in the New Zealand Insurance Office for ' '
