A general meeting of the membera of the Maßterton-Mangahoe Special Settlement Association was held last evening in the Temple Chambers. Tho President of tho Association, Mr W, W, McCarile, presided, The report of the Committee as published in our issue of yesterday was read and adopted aa follows:—That the tender of Messrs M. Caselberg & Co. be accepted for English white clover at 102 a, English cow grass at 9fa 6d, Alskye 100s, in equal proportions—Total, to the acre. The same firm's tender was also accepted for rye grass in proportions of half and half at 3a 8d and half at4s6d, The tender of J. Graham and Co, was accepted for cocksfoot at four and .three-eightß of a penny per pound, delivered at tho Mangamahoo ftailway Station. It was resolved that tenders be called for cartage and delivery of grass seed at the township of Ballance. That tendors be invited for sowing grass seed, and that Mr Tait be appointed Overseer at 8s per day (time to be confined to three weeks), tho contractor not to employ more than six mon at ono timo. Thattho work of placing poga on tho town site where neceeaary be left to the discretion of the Prosident, and that a call of 28s per member be made on account of grassing township, otc, payable in one month. Tho Committee were authorised to expend a sum not exceeding L 25 in the erection of a suspension bridpe opposite Kemper's Camp, a call of ?s Od to be made on each member to defray its cost.
