From the evidence of. plaintiff ii appeared he went to work for defendant as a kind of housekeeper without any arrangement as to. wages, having given up a job at eight shillings a .day to go to defendant's.place..; He stated that ho agreed to-make incubators at 10s each;whil9t'there, and considered the amount he charged for his otherwork, viz., 15s ft week, a fair thing; . ■ ; Defendant denied engaging plaintiff to work as his houje keepdf; he only took Jiim in'out of charity, and.gave him employment maMngincubatoH 10 that he; could stay inMastert6n,vasi» was'-a'member 'it the band of wljieh defendant was leader.
