Tha only outstanding-liability is an amouht due to the Otago'Society for trout ova, the account for'.which has not yet reached ua. The Society's operations and funds for tlitf past twelve months (with the excoption of the purchase ot twenty-three brace of Californian'quail) have been,. exclusively devoted to the introduction of-fish. In July a number of young perch were proonred from Mr Johnson, of Canterbury, and liberated in a suitable lake.
