The Board, to purchase any of, Mr. Molacblan's land. The Glerkw'as instructed to write to the County Council, requesting that they would make a-grant of the office at Eketahuna to the Board; they on their part engaging to provide a site and remove the office, and allow 'the County Council to use it for any purpose they require.

Mr Anderson gave notice that at the next meeting of the Board he will move. That the County Council he requested to band over to the Board the Alfredton road, with tbe rates payable thereon.

It was decided to call for tenders for metalling ten chains on the Alfredton road -

Messrs. Vince, McDonald and Nilson gave in their report re the bridgns and culverts,on the Mangaone. Valley Road. It was resolved that tenders he asked for 7 bridges and 3 culverts on this line.

The Inspector reported that 35 chains of the works on the Maugaone Valley Boad had been, completed, A voucher for a progress payment on that quantity was signed to be forwarded to the Treasury. The Treasurer reported a credit balance of £298 7s 3Jd. Accounts amounting to £44 3s were passed for payment, Messrs Bayliss andNilsen wtire appointed to sign cheques, and the meeting adjourned.
