A PHOTOGRAPHIC ROMANCE.

Quite a. sensational photographic story cotv.es from Madrid, A Spanish photographer, having lately made all the necessary arrangements for taking a comely young damsel, had placed the dark slide in position, and waVin the act of drawing it,out, when, on finally glancing at his "sitter," he was horrified to see that Bhe was holding the muzzle of a small revolver at her forehead. 1 " Stop, for heaven's sake!" cried the artist, adding rather selfishly "Jf you shoot yoursfclf you'wilt 1 ruin my business." In .reply the young lady only laughed, and handing;the revolver to the photographer said,.." Do not be alarmed. It isn't loaded, you see, But I 'want you to 'ta'ko me holding it to my forehead,; 1 can send the carte to ,uiy lover, who has deserted me, with a'letter saying that if he does not come back j..lo'me, 1 j will really fire off tho revolver!"
