FUNERAL OF FRED ARCHER.

On November 12th the body of Frod Archer was interred in the cemetery of Newmarket, his grave boing made by the side of that of his young wifo. The inhabitants of the toivtj closed their shop 3 and .drew down their blinds Crowds lined the streets and congregated about the cemetery, and for a time business was wholly suspended, The funeral procession was. preceded by a car laden with wreaths of flowers.
