A meeting of tho Board waß held on Mor day last. Present—Messrs B, S. Hawkir (chairman), Hood, Perry, Rutherforc and Miller, Resolved—That the seal i the Board be afhxed to the fallowing To Wairarapa North County CouncilIn pursuance of the provisions in th on the behalf of the Counties' Act, 1881 we, the Upper Taueru Road Board apply to the Council to annex all tha portion of the district known as th Koiotiana, and shewn on the plan heret annexed, to the adjoining district of th Masterton Board, Cheques ordered t bo drawn—Masterton Board, balanc debt, £36 5s 2d; Mr Perry, ropaymen loan, £5; Mr Perston, £5; Smith <! Hogg, £2 3s 6d; "Wingate, £llos. Oi reading application for ruloa for Wanga ehu road. Resolved that rates collects be settled whou Kaiotiahua has beei transferred.. Mr Miller reported tha work on Mungapuripure line had beet completed to his satisfaction. Eeeolvec that tho Castlepoint Road Board bi applied to for their contribution of £4 specification? for flarland's work read ant confirmed. ! An application from Mi McGovern that the Mungarao be openec through Bowlands was received. It wai resolved that Mr Hawkins be asked tc open the road. . The latterasksd leave tc eroct gateß at tho fence. Granted: The sum of £3 was granted to the formation ■ of cutting on Mungarae road, provided, in the opinion of the Chairman, it can be usefully done. That the sum of £l2 be voted for the Manawa line, expenditure to be left to Messrs Hood,. Millor, and Wingate. That the sum of £lO bedrawn for Thomas Harland for work on Vfairere line, the money to be paid on completion of the work co Mr# Rutherfurd'a sitisfao. tion, and £4 5a for work on Hood's line. Resolved that hand posts with' direction boards be placed on the Maori gardens to direct to Hood's, Miller's, andj Wingate's lines. Resolved that Mr Harland be instructed to make specification and estimates of work to open up the load to Mr Jackson's land, and tho Wainui-o-Mapu-Alfredton lino. ;
