The Martterton-Opaki Jockey-Club arj making great improvements on their course, A portion of the stand v being divided, and covered in, and will be devoted to ladies only,. The courso has' been closely mowed and looks in fine order, A plouphed gallop has been made, and new booths and other conveniences erected. The road to the .course is atao being put in good order. ' Tho Referee says that Mr Leopold has purchased Mr T. H. Hill's golding Tor< nado, the price beinp £BO.
