Owners are particularly requested to observe that to be avoid being fined, notice of scratching must be handed to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start. Ahack horse is one in actual use as a hack, and which has never run for other than hack races. Entries and acceptances must be made in writing, and addressed to the Secretary of the F.R. 0, Featherston, accompanied by the necessary fees, with name, age at time of entry and pedigree of the horso, name of owner and colors tobe worn by rider. Nominations for Handicaps will close at the Royal Hotel, Featherston, on Wednesday, the first day of December at 8.30 p.m. Weight will be declared on Tuesday, the 14th December,' at 8.80 p.m. Acceptances for Handicap to be made on Tuesday, 21st December, at 8.30 p.m. The winner of an advertised race of £76 and over, after the declaration of weights, to carry five lbs extra in F. R. C. Handicap. No Qualification fee required. Five per cent will bo doducted from the gross amount of any stakes. Horses walking over will receive fifty per cent of the stakes.
