London, December 6. . Hie anti-rent agitation in Ireland is increasing daily, and numerous- meetings were held yesterday in different parts of the country for tho purpose of discussing the questiou. Several prominent Irish members of Parliament, who were present, delivered speeches, in which they advocated the non-payment of rents without proper abatement being made by the landlords.. Serious rioting took place in Cork yesterday evening. Tne police charged the mob, wounding many of the rioters. •.•■''■'
