WOOL SALES.
Tho New Zealand Loax apd Mercantile Agency Company have received the following telegram from their London office, dated- 30th ult,Wool—The sales opened to-day at an averave declino of about#per cent on last closinjy rates, Tho principal decline has boon in medium and inferior greasy and scoured. Wools of a faulty character are neglected. Tho" market for coarße crossbreds iB unchanged. The attendance of both Home and foreign buyers is goad, but competition is . dull. There is much irregularity in the bidding. The opening catalogue contained 10,000 bales, The sales comprise about 124,000 bales, and'osoo bales have been saut to the manufacturing districts. Stars Murray, Roberts, and Co., havo received tho following .cable message, from their London House, Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and CoLoudon, SOth November.—Sales have opened' flat, Large attendance of : buyers, Buyers operating with sjreat reserve. Orossbredß shows no ohauge; merino declined 5 to 10 per cent; scourod inferior to medium descriptions are relatively oheapest,"
