To bo run under the Rules of Racing adopted August 18S6, No qualification Fee, Nominations for the Handicap Hurdles, Flying, L.V.J. C and Martinborougb Handicaps close with the Secretary at Martinborougli on WEDNESDAY, 17th November, at 9 p.m. Weights declared for Handicap Hurdles, Eying; and L.V.J.C, on FRIDAY, December 3rd, at 1 p.m. Acceptances for samo on WEDNESDAY, December 15th, at 0 p.m. Weights for tho Martinborougli Handicap to be declared on the course after the L.V.J.C, is run. Acceptances for the same to be made 30 minutes before the race takes place. The saddingboll will ring at 11.30 a.m., the firat race to start at 12 noon sharp, Each race will start punctually at tho time appearing in the correct cards of the races. No scratching of horses allowed except through the Secretary, »nd not later than thirty minutes before tho time of starting, All entries and Nominations to be mado in writing, scaled and addressed to tlio Secretary. Entranco money to be enclosed, with color, sex, name, age and pedigree of tho horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider; in case of protest tho samo must bo lodged with the Secretary in writing within fifteen minutes after the race ii run, with a deposit of two guineas, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest ia not lustained. The final paymont for the Hurdles, Flying, and L.Y.J.O, Handicaps to be made on tho course an hour beforo the appointed time-of starting for these events, In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to bo given. Nominations for Handicaps will close at tho Royal Hotel, Featherston, on Wednesday, the first day of December at 8,30 p.m. Weight will be declared on Tuesday, the 14th December, at 8.30 p,m, Acceptances for Hnndicap to be mado on Tuesday, 21st December, at 8.30 p.m. Tho winner of an advertised race of £7o snd over, after tho declaration of weights, to carry five lbs extra in F. ft. 0. Handicap, •No Qualification fee required. Five per cent will bo deducted from tho gross amount of any stakes. Horses walking over will receive fifty per cent of tho stakes.
