Nominations for the Handicap Hurdles, Flying, L.V.J.O and Martiriborougn Handicaps close with tlio Seorotary at Martinhorough on WEDNESDAY, 17th November, at 9 p.m. Weights dcolarod for Handicap Hurdles, Flying; and L.V,J.C. on FRIDAY, December 3rd, at 7 p.m. Acceptances for same on WED. NESDAY, December 15th, at 9 p.m. Weights for the Martinhorough Handicap to be declared on the course after the L.V.J.O. is run. Acceptances for the same to be made 30 minutes before the race takes placo, The saddingbell will ring at 11.30 a.m., the first raco to start at 12 noon sharp. Each race will start punctually at the time appearing in the correct cards of tho races. No scratching of horses allowed except through the Secretary, and not later than thirty minutes before the timo of starting. All ontries and Nominations to bo made in writing, sealed and addressed to tho Secretary. Entrance money to bo enclosed, with color, sex, name, age and pedigree of tho horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider; in case of protest tho same must bo lodged with the Secretary in writing within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of two guineas) suoh deposit to be forfeited if tho protest iB not sustained. Tho final payment for the Hurdles, Flying, and L.V.J.O. Handicaps to be made on the course an hour before tho appointed timo of starting for these events. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to bo given.' All protests must ba made in writing and lodged with the Seoretavy with a deposit of £1 within fifteen minutes after passing the winning post, thedoposittobe forfeited if the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Owners are particularly requested to observe that to bo avoid being fined, notice of scratching must be handed to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the'time appointed to start. - A hack horso is one in actual uao as a hack, and whioh has never run for other than hack races. Entries and acceptances must be made in writing, and addressed to the Secretary of the F. B. C, Featbarston, accompanied by the necessary fees, with name, age at timo of entry and podigree of the horse, name of owner and colors tobeworn bv rider. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. This only applies where horses have not raced in Wairarapa and where their performances ara not included in the N. Z. Turf Record. Nominations for Handicaps will close at the Royal Hotel, Featherston, on Wednesday, the first day of December at 8,30 p.m. Weight will be declared on Tuesday, the 14th December, at 8.30 p.m. Acceptances for Handicap to be made on Tuesday, 21st Dr-cembor, at 8,30 p.m. Tho winner of an advertised raco of £75 and over, after the declaration of weights, to carry fivo lbs extra in F, E, 0. Handicap. No Qualification fee required. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross amount of any stakes. Howes walking over will receive fifty per cent' of tho stakes.
