• \ Masiertox (2nd eleven) v Tradesmen, 'I he above match came off on Saturday afternoon on the Oval and resulted in a win for the Mastorton Club by 33 runs on the first innings. The Tradesmen, who were playing with throe substitutes, went to the- wicket first, but owing to their bad judgment in running ana placing their logs wlioro the bat should bo, only succeeded in putting topethor 36 runs, the extras being best scorer with 14, Jacksen coming next with 13. Tho Mas* tertun Club coinmonced very bad, the first five wickets falling for 12, when a stand was nmdo, and tho fielding getting loose the scoro of 69 was notchod before the last wioket fell, Kibblewbito with 26 topping the list, Mackay 15, and extras 13 being the only, double figures. In their second attempt tho Tradesmen made a little better stand Thomas and Jackson making a very decent scoro and when the stumps were drawn for the day had lost five wickets for 47 runs.
