TARATAHI-CARTERTON ROAD BOARD.

The ÜBual monthly mooting of tho Board was held on Saturday. Present.-Messrs Boys (chairman), Rayner, Dorset, Parker, Braithwaite, Stevens and Booth. Tha miuutes of tho previous ordinary and speoial meetings woro read and confirmed Tllfl Treasurer reported a debit balance of £134 lis. A letter was received from ratepayers asking for 30 chains of metalling to done m No. 1 Ward, also from ratepayers in No. 7 Ward, asking for about 11 miles • of bush to be fell along tho Maungatariri Gully, which were ordered to be laid oa the the table. From the Colonial Treasurei re tho conversion of the debentures. From Mr W. Booth asking that certain properties now *jtaesd in the firm of W. Booth and Co., KB assessed separately to Alfred Boothand Edward Eaglo. The request of Mr Booth was granted. The outgoing cor»' respondenoe from the letter book was read.
