Each race will start punctually at tho time appearing in the correct cards of tho races. No scratching of horses allowed except through tho Secretary, and not later than thirty minutes before the time of starting. This only applies whore horses have not raced in the Watwraps, and where their performances arc nol included in the N.Z. Turf Record. A horse to run' in the Haok and Had Hurdles must oonipto with the following conditions, viz,: it must be in actual use as a bom fide hack j it must not have been trained oi sweated in olothing, at least for six monthi before tha race meeting; it must never have been entered for any race tho advertised stab of which has been more than fifty pounds; ii must never have won any race except a Had or Hack Hurdle race.
