Greytown went first to the wickets, and only made 39 against the bowling of the two Judds. Kuratawhiti then went hi and only succeeded in making 31, or one moro than their oppononts, tho bowling of Ruthorford and Cuff being dead on the wickot. Greytown in the second inninip only got 17, and Kuratawhiti got the required numbor to win with the losb of two wickets.
