TREASON is a beautiful golden chestnut, standing about sixteen hands liiuh, with immense bone and muscle, with very superior action; lias a splendid constitution and good taper; is quiet to lido or handlo. He has proved himself a suro foal-getter; has distinguished himself well on tho turf, having never lost a race when starting for woigkt-for-ageand welter weight-for-oge. He took first prize at Richmond Agricultural Show, Nckon; ho also took first prize at the Marlborough Agricultural Show. TREASON is tho airo of that splendid orosscountry horse Erebus, that has so well distinguished himself, both on the flat and over hurdles.
