BOROUGH QUESTION.

CiUtTERTON lias once more woke up to the necessity of forming a Borough, and a meeting of householders was convened at Mr A, L. Whytu's residence last night for the purpose of discussing the question and fixing the area.

There were about forty persons present and Mr It, Fairbruther was voted to the chair.

The matter was fully discussed, both pro. and con. by the different speakers but the difliculty seemed to be as to the area, On the Chairman calling for a show of hands for and against the proposal t.hc aye 3 had the majority and a committee was formed to canvas for the required numbor of signatures.
